Dear Bullet’s fans,

 As a program that supports young women student-athletes, it makes sense for us to be strong supporters of Breast Cancer Awareness and Breast Cancer Research. 

Closer to home, we have had personal experiences.  Silver Bullet’s alumnae, Aimee McRobert,  lost her mom, Jennifer, to breast cancer in 2010.  As well, a wife of a current Silver Bullet’s supporter is currently battling breast cancer.

Each year we support Breast Cancer Awareness month during our October Tournaments by wearing pink on one day of each tourney.  We also do what we can to generate funds to donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and we urge everyone’s support of this organization.
