The Oregon Silver Bullets have an
established history as a competitive ASA
girls fastpitch softball program and
strive to develop players to compete at
the national level. During the
2005 season, Silver Bullets teams were
competitive at all age levels.
This program offers the dedicated
softball player the opportunity to
develop and improve skills, learn
teamwork and play at the most
competitive level. Located out of north
Beaverton, all our teams are looking for
talented players for the spring/summer
2006 season. Most of our teams are also
playing fall softball. In 2006, we plan
to have two 18Gold Teams (Gawlista and
Studer coaches), one 18A team (Winston
coach), one 14U team (Burg coach) and
two 12U teams (Lyda and Taylor
coaches). We are also looking for a new
coach for a 10U team.
Tryouts will take place at Westview High
School (1 mile north of Highway 26 on
185th Avenue; softball fields are on the
south side of the building). Potential
players can attend either or both
sessions. Registration and individual
stretching/warm-up will begin 20 minutes
prior to the listed start time.
The tryout schedule is as follows:
18U:
Saturday, August 20 from 9:00a-12:00p
Sunday, August 21 from 9:00a-12:00p
Saturday, August 27 from 9:00a-12:00p
14U:
